The Home Chore Program

A prevailing sense of loneliness is among the most common issues faced by Adults 60+ today With 42.6 million older adults reporting a feeling of social disconnect - a fact compounded by the decline of traditional community centers such as churches.

Our Home Chore Program looks to alleviate that loneliness while helping with practical tasks.

As a volunteer, you will be paired/matched with an older adult near you. You will be responsible for visiting your match once to twice a month, making sure they are doing ok, listening to their stories and helping with chores that have become difficult for them.
