imagine a world where every older adult is well fed, has a place to live, has access to affordable health care, and does not live in isolation.
All Are Welcome
NewBridge is a LGBTQ+ friendly organization. We aim to create an environment that is supportive, respectful, and non-judgmental. The LGBTQ+ community deserves freedom without exception, liberation without exception, joy without exception, and pride without exception.
Our Dedication to DEI
NewBridge will actively promote antiracism in our organization and our community to reduce racial and socioeconomic disparities through our daily work with older adults.
We’re committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where everyone can participate safely and comfortably.
Standing with Our Immigrant Neighbors
At NewBridge, we stand with our immigrant neighbors, friends, families, and older adults who are an essential part of the Dane County community.
We are deeply concerned about the fear and disruption caused by ICE activity and actions that threaten that sense of belonging. No one should live in fear for simply being part of our community.
If you are involved with NewBridge, your information is private and confidential. It is only shared with your consent. Access to our programs does not depend on your status, language, religion, or family situation. We serve everyone with respect and without discrimination.
Creating a Safe, Respectful, and Inclusive Community
At NewBridge, we are committed to fostering a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where all participants can enjoy activities safely and comfortably. Like any community organization, we have established guidelines to ensure positive interactions among our members and staff.
Our policies apply to all participants equally, and we communicate expectations to maintain a positive atmosphere.
When concerns arise regarding behavior that disrupts the experience for others, we address them, always prioritizing the well-being of our community. When participants and staff fail to comply with our policies, we respond on a case-by-case basis, carefully considering each situation.
NewBridge values every individual who participates in our programs and encourages open dialogue when concerns arise. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable space for all.

Ending Isolation Madison is a citywide initiative dedicated to addressing social isolation among older adults. With the support of a newly awarded grant, we are building a coalition to raise awareness and develop impactful programs that foster connection, support, and education. Together, we are working to ensure that every older adult in Madison feels seen, valued, and connected to their community.
