Get Services During COVID-19

NewBridge is helping older adults, 60+ in Madison and Monona through COVID-19. Below are the services we are providing.

Case Management

Social workers are available by phone and by email at to help older adults and connect them to resources.

Food Bridge Delivery

Groceries are delivered to the door by a volunteer from a food pantry and done every two weeks.

Necessity Kit Delivery

Necessity kits will be delivered to the door by a volunteer. Kits may contain depending on availability: toilet paper, soap, sanitizing wipes, toiletries, etc.

Bridge Buddies – Friendly Callers

Volunteers are matched with older adults to do safety check calls and/or social friendly calls. 

Cloth Face Mask Delivery 

One reusable, hand-made mask will be delivered to the door by a volunteer upon availability.

Take-Out Meals

Meals are available to pick up at the following locations for older adults 60+. While there is no charge for these meals, donations are accepted via mail to NewBridge, 1625 Northport Dr. #125, Madison 53704. Call to order Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Orders are due by Thursday 10:00 am the week prior.

Other NEWBRIDGE Services

Nutrition Program

Nutritious daytime meals are offered at various locations throughout the Madison and Monona area, Monday-Friday. The meal is well balanced and appealing for seniors who don’t enjoy cooking or eating alone. Meals and transportation require a reservation.  

Home Chore Program

Home Chore Program that connects volunteers to seniors who need assistance with household chores so they can remain in their homes.

Cultural Diversity Program

Cultural Diversity program reduces isolation  for African American and Latinx older adults.

Activities

We provide a broad range of opportunities for learning, socializing, volunteer work and community involvement. The activities take place in different neighborhood centers, libraries, and churches across Madison and Monona. 

Foot Care Clinics

NewBridge is partnering with Nail Technicians Gail Owens and Susan Hasey to provide foot care for $20 for non-diabetic older adults. Call (608) 512-0000 to make an appointment.

Loan Program

The East Madison/Monona location has a loan closet with items such as walker, raised toilet seats, commodes, crutches and more. Open MOnday-Thursday 9:00 am-3:00 pm.
