Cultural Diversity Program Coordinator for Spanish Speaking Older Adults

Position Overview

The Cultural Diversity Program Coordinator for Spanish Speaking Older Adults provides educational and social programs and resource assistance for Spanish Speaking Seniors in Dane County. In addition, this position performs outreach to area organizations to develop partnerships to better serve Spanish Speaking Seniors in Dane County. All functions are carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures of NewBridge Madison and the contract requirements.

Skills:

Bilingual and bicultural skills (Spanish)
Strong communication/people skills.
Knowledge of the Spanish Speaking senior adult population and a background in working with Spanish Speaking senior adults and their families.

Fund Development Assistant 

Position Overview

The Fund Development Assistant is responsible for supporting the Executive Director in building and sustaining NewBridge Madison’s philanthropic mission to support the ongoing need for older adult services. This position is responsible for providing administrative, writing, and research support for NewBridge Madison and tracking and implementing fund development projects for the organization. This is a half-time (0.6 FTE) position, with the potential to become full-time, that reports to the Executive Director.

Skills:

A minimum of one year’s experience in an administrative position, preferably in fund development, fundraising, public relations, sales or related fields; bachelors degree preferred.

Proficiency with Google docs, Microsoft Office and database management.

Strong analytical and research skills.

Effective written and verbal communication.

Excellent skills in performing administrative support functions requiring independent judgment, decision-making, and problem resolution.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized with a strong ability to prioritize tasks. They will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to take initiative, work independently and meet deadlines.
